"This is such bad business that you can only assume that the motives are ulterior."

“I’m very happy to continue The Right Time with ESPN. I remain indebted to everyone who has worked to build the podcast, particularly my producer Gabe Basayne.”
"I am taking a break. I don’t know how long that break is going to be"
Game Theory is coming back, but perhaps not for a bit.
"I think I spoke to him once since then, and then they didn’t call me back."
"Be fearless about disseminating what you believe that truth to be. If you can’t do that, you don’t belong in this business."
Bomani Jones' new show has a trailer.
Game Theory has a premiere date.
"It's a gross caricature that you and I would've expected from the 50s, maybe, or the 60s."
“This is, literally, my professional dream, to have a show like this one on HBO. I'd feel that way with anyone behind it, but working with a top-notch group like Seth, Stu, Todd, Adam and Nina has me more excited than I can express. We have a chance to do something that hasn't been done before, and I can't wait to share our work with the world."
Jones will appear on Around the Horn and his podcast is still hosted by ESPN, in the meantime.
"And to the audience, ain't nothing sticking around for 10 years unless it lands with somebody, and this has landed with a lot of people. Thank you for allowing all of us to have the opportunity to do something that could connect with you, in different ways, through different people, and at different times."
Back on the Record premieres on HBO Friday at 11 p.m. Eastern/Pacific, and will also be available on HBO Max.
Viewers were very confused with today's Highly Questionable episode
"I don’t know what the paradigm is going to be for guys on television talking about sports if you’re not Stephen A. Smith."
Jones will continue his popular podcast The Right Time, along with other duties.
This seemed unlikely given the cancellation of High Noon in February, but a lot has changed since then.
"Co-hosts Pablo Torre and Bomani Jones are extremely talented, and they helmed what we believed was a smart and nuanced show. Unfortunately, not enough people agreed with us."
