NBC is shutting down the U.S. linear Olympic Channel in September

Five years after its launch, the NBC U.S. linear Olympic channel (a NBC/IOC/USOPC partnership) is shutting down.

NBC will present a record 1,200 hours of Paralympics coverage, with 135 hours of that on NBCSN

There's going to be a ton of Paralympic coverage available, but much of it will be on authentication-required streaming apps and websites.

The film will cover Argentina's men's basketball success from 2001-16, focusing in on the 2004 gold-medal win and interviewing every player from that team.

Olympic Channel releases “The People’s Fighters,” Peter Berg’s documentary on Teofilo Stevenson and Cuban boxing

"The People's Fighters," Berg's 87-minute documentary on the history of Cuban boxing, can be watched for free at olympicchannel.com.
