Amazon Prime Video will reportedly pay a hefty sum to get the exclusive rights for an NFL Playoffs game in the 2024-25 season.
Comcast CEO Brian Roberts discussed his initial impressions of streaming with the NFL, specifically the playoff game they aired on Peacock.

As per King, Amazon is bidding between $70 and $100 million for this game.
It's unclear yet if the NFL will really push ahead with this concept, or if this is just a plan to get more bids for the mobile streaming package that had been with Verizon.
This is at least the third time this NFL season a particular English-language feed from a local affiliate has wound up with only Spanish audio.
"There's an appetite for knowledge across sports, whether it be to understand how salary caps work or what goes into draft picks. So giving fans the power to reconstruct plays, and being able to do that across a NFL Sunday, is kind of cool."
Any new Saturday NFL telecasts would likely be exclusive to Amazon Prime or ESPN+.

Four companies are still reportedly in the hunt for TNF streaming rights, which could give the NFL a big payday. But there are questions about just how interested Amazon is in retaining those rights.
