Bellator has been purchased by the PFL, ending a decade-plus run of over 300 events.
The latest sports involvement with Saudi Arabia comes from that country's SRJ Sports Investments buying into the Professional Fighters League.
"In just one year, Challenger Series established itself as a proving ground for future world title contenders."
"You're talking about over 30 live events coming from the PFL in 2022. So it will be a year-round activation for live events with differentiated products."
The deal will include behind-the-scenes training content, live weigh-ins, a curated event page, and more.
PFL Vault will now air on fubo Sports Network Fridays at 9 p.m. ET.
The four-episode series will be available in full on ESPN+ following the first episode's premiere on linear ESPN Saturday.
"We doubled down on content and created our own muscle to go direct to fans."
The PFL is taking quite a different approach from many leagues to resuming play, postponing their season until 2021 but launching new studio content in the meantime.
"The PFL is truly building a global league, and the international audience is as important as the U.S. audience."
