An expanded CFP looks likely to see either games going head-to-head with the NFL or midweek games, and it looks like the CFP execs are considering at least some head-to-head games, but not without complaining about the NFL in the process.
When the playoff gets larger, it might wind up with some weeknight games to avoid head-to-head competition with the NFL.
The CFP title game is now set for a 7:30 p.m. ET start.
