It’s been another busy week in sports media. We’re here to recap the biggest news and events that took place and share some of our best work from the week that was. Without further adieu:

Current Big Ten Network analyst Matt Millen was a good sport this week, poking fun at his atrocious record as the CEO and GM of the Detroit Lions during the Wisconsin-Minnesota broadcast.
Mike Felger blasts Al Horford after Horford missed game for his daughter’s birth – Nov. 29
Mike Felger of Comcast SportsNet New England and 98.5 WBZ The Sports Hub delivered a spicy hot take, calling out Boston Celtics forward Al Horford for missing a game for his daughters birth. The remarks were third in this week’s hottest takes.
One World Sports CEO talks about furloughs and future of the network – Nov. 30
Sources told Awful Announcing that “ONE World Sports has furloughed much of its staff,” and that vendors have not been paid. CEO Sandy Brown told us the reports were “inaccurate,” saying “The bottom line is that this company has a very bright future, and we are intent on seeing that realized.”
Adam Schefter signed a five-year extension with ESPN. The new deal will allow him to do sideline NBA sideline reporting. Don’t worry, he’ll still be doing NFL coverage for the mothership and won’t be taking NBA jobs from other ESPN reporters.
