Interviewing possibly-inebriated fans on live television after a championship always carries some potential perils, as we’ve seen before. The latest case came after the Philadelphia Eagles’ 38-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC championship Sunday, which produced plenty of odd celebrations and even a fan smashing into a pole. And it also saw a rather profane commentary on quarterback Nick Foles’ performance in place of the injured Carson Wentz on a report from local station 6abc (WPVI), from a track suit-attired fan wearing an eyepatch:

“Well, it’s crazy. Wentz goes down and Big Dick Nick steps the fuck up!” This guy makes quite the impact in the couple of seconds before his friend drags him away. It’s not all original, though, as apparently, the “Big Dick Nick” chants are everywhere:

But where does this all come from? Well…there’s a May 2014 Crossing Broad story titled “Apparently Nick Foles Has the Biggest D*ck on the Eagles,” which centers on then-Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin responding to a Reddit AMA question of “Biggest weiner in the locker room?” with “Doesn’t the internet know it’s Nick Foles?” And Barstool Sports’ Dan Katz brought that up again this year when Wentz went down:

There are plenty of other references to “Big Dick Nick” out there too, including a group of Philadelphia fans chanting it outside the L.A. Coliseum after the game against the Rams where Wentz got hurt. So this is definitely a thing. And now it’s made the local news.
If that’s going to be yelled on local TV, though, it’s hard to picture a more perfect circumstance than it being yelled by a fan wearing a tracksuit and an eyepatch who’s then quickly pulled away. Jason Mendoza’s team may be out of the playoffs now, but this guy might be that character’s real-life equivalent. And also, if the NFC championship game party is this lit, it will be interesting to see what happens if the Eagles win the Super Bowl.
