It’s been awhile since checked in on Dan Sileo. At last glance a year ago, he got a job in San Diego working for The Mighty 1090.

Apparently it’s going well for him, because Sileo will now be the pregame radio host for the Padres this season.

Sileo was fired three times in a ridiculous two year spell for racist comments, sexist comments, and offering bounties against Florida State players.

Maybe he’s turned over a new leaf. His Twitter feed is almost nothing but guest announcements for his show (an improvement, considering his history). The AA Inbox and Twitter replies haven’t blown up with awful things he’s said on air.

I’ve gotta say…if Sileo has changed his ways and is trying to be less inflammatory, good for him.
