Following Turner Sports’ dual versions of One Shining Moment last year, CBS went back to the classic well of Luther Vandross alone for the 2017 version. Here’s the 2017 version of the famous montage:

There are some solid highlights in there, from Crying Northwestern Kid to Luke Maye’s crucial shot, and the return to Vandross alone seemed to go over well on Twitter. However, not everyone got to see it on TV. CBS affiliates in Augusta, Georgia and Bangor, Maine dropped out before it aired. Viewers there missed out.
