A few weeks ago, I shared a clip of Charley Steiner botching an end of game call. Well over the weekend, Dick Stockton had a call that could quite possibly top the Steiner confusion. Stockton got confused on the final pitch of the game, and called the throw both “ball four” and “strike three”. Here’s the short, but hilarious, audio….
Too funny. I’ve thought that Baseball was the perfect Sport for the elder Stockton, because of the pace, but apparently even the slowest game is too much for ole Dicky. Such a shame.
