As a club, Arsenal FC have shown a decent sense of humor when it comes to their video production and social media department. The latest effort from the Gunners depicts star players Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla doing their best FanZone impression and providing commentary to a recent game.
Considering the German and Spanish internationals are commentating in English, it’s worth an “A” for the effort alone. However, from a broadcasting standpoint, the commentary is left lacking from a fundamentals standpoint. (Gus Johnson eat your heart out.) Most of it is made up of “OOOOHHHs” and “GOOOOOOLLLLLs” and making fun of Per Mertesacker. Too bad we can’t get the players’ take on Arsene Wenger’s shove of Jose Mourinho.
