Charles Barkley is on many accounts the best and most entertaining studio analyst in sports. But have you ever thought what he might be like as an NFL analyst? Well wonder no more – Sir Charles will make a visit to the set of The NFL Today and guest star on CBS’s NFL pregame show.
Barkley will make the crossover appearance this Sunday as a guest analyst as CBS says he’ll offer his insights on the NFL season and Week 5 matchups.
NBA Hall of Fame legend and Turner Sports’ Charles Barkley visits the set of THE NFL TODAY to offer his unique insights for Week 5 and the NFL at this point in the season.
Of course, Barkley has done plenty of work for CBS as part of the partnership with Turner Sports to cover the NCAA Basketball Tournament. This represents a nice expansion of that relationship, helps advertise the start of Turner’s NBA coverage with the new season upon us, and adds a bit of spice to the Sunday morning pregame shows.
Let’s face it – NFL pregame shows can use a nice boost and something different that isn’t sponsored by DraftKings. The Chuckster should provide that, as long as he does a bit more homework than for the NCAA Tournament.
