Yesterday, the University of Nebraska announced that it had fired its head football coach, Bo Pelini, effective immediately, after seven seasons and zero conference titles. Despite a 9-3 season this year, it was not enough to save Pelini’s job, and he will not coach whatever bowl game the Huskers end up in.
As soon as it was announced, Twitter exploded with the news and waited for the reaction from the very popular parody account, @FauxPelini. Well, he did not disappoint:
