US Men's National Team star Landon Donovan will make several appearances on Fox Sports 1 next week, centered around Match Day 5 of the UEFA Champions League.
On Monday, Donovan will appear on Fox Sports Live, presumably as part of the in-studio panel of former athletes moderated by Charissa Thompson. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Donovan will appear on the pre-game, halftime, and post-game Champions League shows, starting at 2 PM alongside Rob Stone, Warren Barton, Eric Wynalda, and Brian McBride.
It'll be a nice opportunity for Donovan to show off his knowledge of the game and maybe do a little bit to increase the exposure of US Soccer heading into next summer's World Cup. Donovan's former club, Bayer Leverkusen, will be hosting Manchester United on Wednesday in Fox Sports 1's featured matchup.
