Kawhi Leonard has been a breakout performer during Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 3-1 series lead over the Miami Heat. Leonard scored a career high 29 points in Game 3 and followed it up with 20 and 14 in Game 4.
In his third season, the forward from San Diego State is a known quantity among those who follow the league, but may be unknown to a national audience. That’s what led to this amazing interview exchange between Leonard and ESPN’s Stuart Scott. Frost/Nixon it is not, but it’s clear Gregg Popovich is teaching his troops the art of the interview very well:
