Here's a pretty funny video of the sound going out at WFAN in New York this morning during the Boomer & Carton show. Ironically enough, sound is pretty important in the radio business so when you lose that, you pretty much lose everything. Except in this case of course there's the television simulcast, which then featured men bewildered and bemused by their inability to produce a radio broadcast.
Listening to WFAN's technical difficulties right now is fascinating, bizarre experience.

Good times, this. Could you imagine the tirade that would happen if this occurred during Francesa's show? I doubt he'd find the fun in it that Boomer Esiason did.
