Kentucky head coach John Calipari may not be the most likable fella in college basketball and his halftime interview during last night’s game against Missouri isn’t going to change that. He took a pretty clear shot at ESPN analyst Dick Vitale for daring to question his coaching strategy.
Yea, Vitale was fired once by the Pistons. And yes, he may be known more for his character than his basketball analysis these days. That doesn’t automatically disqualify what he has to say. You know who else was fired by an NBA team and was a spectacular failure as a head coach once upon a time?
