Terrible story from San Diego as local CBS sports director Kyle Kraska was shot in his home on Tuesday. The station and Kraska’s co-workers live tweeted the story as developments emerged today.

Kraska remains hospitalized and police have a suspect who is at large. He’s an award-winning sportscaster who has been with KFMB since 1999 and the station’s sports anchor since 2003. Before that he served stints in New York, Florida, and Texas.

UPDATE: The suspect surrendered and thankfully Kraska is expected to recover from his injuries.
