Oh, the perils of live television. And the perils of a hot mic. Never assume the mic is off when you go to break. The lesson is always assume your microphone is hot. It happened during The Postseason Show on TBS right after Game 1 of the National League Championship Series. After host Casey Stern teased a segment going to break, it sounded as if it was he who dropped the “MF” bomb:

It appears TBS cut off the mics as soon as the MF bomb slipped through, but it was too late.
