On Saturday, Mike Francesa fans from all over the tri-state area descended on Manhattan’s Irving Plaza for the second edition of FrancesaCon. The event was an unquestioned success, and raised plenty of money for charity.
During the gathering, Francesa himself took the stage, and had something to say about New York media rival Michael Kay.
Yup – in response to a “f*** Michael Kay” chant, Francesa brushed it off by saying no one cares about him.
Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of wittiness to appease the masses rather than a long rant.
