There is no love lost between Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and anyone associated with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Before the teams faced off on the court on Thursday—a resounding 104-88 win in Los Angeles—Cuban fired a shot at the Clips and team owner Steve Ballmer, telling reporters (via Marc J. Spears at Yahoo), “I just don’t give a [expletive] about the Clippers,” and “[y]ou can change the owner, you can change the players, but the Clippers are who they’ve been for the past 30 years.”

Them’s fightin’ words, as the saying goes, which is why the crack staff running the Clippers video board suggested the two owners kiss and make up.

What’s amazing about the video is the level of involvement from each owner. Cuban knows he is in unfriendly territory, as even though he was clearly the wronged party in this off-season’s DeAndre Jordan saga, he’s undoubtedly Public Enemy No 1 in Los Angeles. It was nice of the Shark Tank star to play nice for the cameras.

But Ballmer? Ballmer! The man is insane, in the best possible way. Is that how he kisses other people? Is he trying to eat Cuban like he’s a sandwich? I know the guy has passion, but that’s something beyond passion. That’s…that’s going to haunt our dreams for a while.
