GRAPHICS/CAMERA INNOVATION

  • The NFL on CBS will debut an entirely new graphics package. CBS will decorate its graphics with a ‘sand and sea’ design throughout the broadcast.
  • CBS will use 120 cameras throughout the stadium with an assortment of angles, including:
    • A Venice Camera, with a 3D look; Multiple 4K and 8K cameras.
    • Additional mini-cameras on pylons and sidelines to provide several different looks.
    • Trolly Cam, ziplining across the field, through a side angle.
    • A 53-foot Movie Bird Crane above the field.

  • WOMEN IN THE NFL: Profile on the women who have prominent roles during Super Bowl LV, including coaches, scouting assistants, and athletic trainers for both teams, and down judge Sarah Thomas, the first-ever female game official to work a Super Bowl.
  • THE ASCENSION OF BLACK QUARTERBACKS: The Daily Show’s Roy Wood, Jr. looks at the history of the Black quarterback in the NFL.
