UFC 246 is in Las Vegas on Saturday night, with Conor McGregor and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone set for the main event. Many celebrities and professional athletes are in attendance for the fights at T-Mobile Arena, and the UFC PPV broadcast decided to show off some of the NFL personalities on hand.
The broadcast showed viewers — with a graphic included for each — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis, and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. But when they showed Garrett, he was sitting right next to an even more known Browns player: quarterback Baker Mayfield. Even as the camera zoomed out to get a clearer view of Mayfield in the shot, there was no mention of him from play-by-play man Jon Akin.

Just rolling through Baker Mayfield without acknowledging that he’s there (and wearing an urban sombrero). Not cool. https://t.co/5rtqvJhdk5

Mayfield had a very rough sophomore season, but that’s still rough to not even get acknowledged in this instance.
Update: The UFC PPV broadcast did recognize Mayfield later (but without a graphic prepared).
