Bill Simmons was watching First Take on Thursday morning and posted a video to Facebook that mocked Stephen A. Smith ranting about Sam Hinkie leaving the Philadelphia 76ers. Simmons is currently throwing every piece of shade possible at ESPN as he launches The Ringer and we probably have archives of 857 posts of him bashing Bristol at one point or another.

If Simmons REALLY wants to make The Ringer a success, he’ll post live streams of him providing commentary to First Take every morning.
Seriously though, at some point Simmons is going to have to move beyond just ripping ESPN at every opportunity, right? This isn’t even some kind of insightful takedown – this is just a Simmons sticking out his tongue at Smith for a minute. This is a WWE crowd repeatedly chanting “WHAT?” at someone on the mic.
As he closes in on his new beginnings at The Ringer and HBO, perhaps it’s time to ratchet down the constant ESPN bashing and focus on making his new ventures successes.
On second thought, that sounds kinda boring… First Take mock commentary it is!
