NFL flexes Cincinnati at Pittsburgh into Week 17 Sunday Night Football slot

We don’t have the final NFL Week 17 schedule yet, but we do know a few things the last day of the regular season. The NFL has officially flexed Cincinnati at Pittsburgh from 1 p.m. ET to the Sunday night primetime slot for NBC. This could be for the AFC North Division title and a home game for the winner provided the Bengals take care of business tonight against the Denver Broncos.

The Steelers are in the playoffs no matter what. Cincinnati can still make the playoffs even if they lose tonight, but could be out if they lose tonight and next week to Pittsburgh. It all depends on the Monday night game tonight.

Despite not having the complete Week 17 schedule, we do know of another game that has been flexed and that is the NFC North Division game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Lions announced on their website on Sunday that its game originally scheduled for 1 p.m. ET has been flexed to 4:25 p.m. and will be shown on Fox.

One game that is staying in its timeslot is San Diego at Kansas City which will be aired on CBS.

Week 17 is a double doubleheader meaning that both CBS and Fox will have national doubleheaders with windows at 1 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. leading into the final game of the season, the Sunday Night Football on NBC.

We still don’t have official word on when the NFC South Division game between the Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons will kick off. That is currently scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Fox.

When we receive the final schedule, it will be posted here, but in the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for the official team Twitter accounts for news on any changes in kickoff times and/or crossflexes. We will update you as soon as we have the information.
