Friday marked the final day of the January transfer window in the Premier League, and one lower division club's social media staff decided to have some fun with it.
AFC Wimbeldon's official account poked fun at the seriousness of deadline day with a string of lighthearted tweets that left the Twitter world in stitches. They currently play in League Two, which is the fourth division of English soccer.
They began with a play on the whole "transfer window" thing.

Then they had a deal to announce.

Later, they joked about their status as a small-market club.

It's great to see so many team twitter accounts have fun with social media and be legitimately funny. Hopefully more do the same in the future.
