Yesterday was our last chance to hear Gus Johnson call a college basketball game until next season with the Big Ten quarterfinals. While Ohio State's blowout of Nebraska didn't give us any memorable moments, MSU-Iowa had its share of highlights. Take this monster dunk from Sparty's Ketih Appling, which produces a noise from Gus like we haven't heard since Brandon Stokley. WHAT!?!
And just in case you need more, BTN put together a best of Gus from yesterday's action so we can properly bid adieu to his return to the hardwood. My favorite is definitely the "BILL RUSSELL" shoutout…
Alas, it's back to the beautiful game for Gus Johnson and calling corner kicks instead of corner threes and crosses into the box instead of crossovers.
