The Oklahoma City Thunder aren’t just one of the great stories of the NBA season, they should be one of the great stories in all of sports. After somehow earning the top spot in the brutally tough Western Conference, OKC is cruising towards a first round victory over the Pelicans (sans Zion Williamson) after taking a 3-0 series lead with a Game 3 victory in New Orleans.

But it’s not just the wins the Thunder keep racking up, it’s the fact that they are the second youngest team in the NBA with an average age of just over 24 and by far the youngest team to ever lock up a #1 seed.

The Thunder are also full of players with a ton of personality who never seem to take themselves too seriously. The team has a habit of doing postgame interviews filled with various hijinks. And that came to the detriment of Allie LaForce and the TNT national broadcast on Saturday after Game 3.

LaForce was ready to interview Jalen Williams when most of the Thunder roster thought they would first do a solid for the local Bally Sports Oklahoma broadcast and crash Nick Gallo’s interview with Josh Giddey. After that was all said and done, they went back for the interview with LaForce.

While TNT might not appreciate being big-timed by a local broadcast, what’s wrong with giving the local fans and media first dibs when it comes to celebrating your first big road playoff win as a group? And in case you’re wondering, yes, the barking is a tradition at the end of the Thunder interviews with Gallo. We’re still waiting for the meta troll job of Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander singing everyone’s least favorite commercial “What a Pro Wants” though.
