You may have noticed that I had stopped picking on for awhile. It wasn’t because there was a lack of mistakes from the “”, but because it was just getting old.

People email me little grammar mistakes they make everyday, which in ESPN’s defense are pretty hard to catch when you have to review thousands and thousands of pages. But when you make multiple errors during a featured article that was three months in the making, I’m going to take notice.

Eric Neel did a wonderful piece on the USC season. Even if you’re not a USC fan it gives you great insight into the College game, Coaching and the Players. Forget the fact that ESPN spent an entire season with USC (a team they’ve been shoving down our throats for the past 5 years), and read the section titled “The Kid stays in the Picture”. Two of the players mentioned in that section might be a little upset to know their names are completely wrong (click for larger)….

Cedric Ellis and Tim Cushing would probably be great players if they existed. I’m pretty sure Linebacker Brian Cushing and DL Sedrick Ellis won’t be putting this article up on their fridge.

I make grammar mistakes everyday, but I’d like to think if I did a whole piece on Troy Aikman I wouldn’t call him Terry Aikman.
