  • Ratings changes from the year-ago weekend were relatively slight for the weekend’s four English Premier League soccer matches on NBCSN from Apr. 15-16 with one notable exception:

    • Bournemouth-Tottenham (Apr. 15 early morning): 260,000 viewers (+4 percent from 249,000 of Sunderland-Norwich Apr. 16, 2016; also, -35 percent from 401,000 of 2016 EPL Week 33 match of Arsenal-West Ham Apr. 9, 2016)
    • Leicester-Crystal Palace (Apr. 15 late morning): 361,000 viewers (-16 percent from 428,000 of Aston Villa-Manchester United Apr. 16, 2016; also, +11 percent from 393,000 of 2016 EPL Week 33 match of Norwich-Crystal Palace Apr. 9, 2016)
    • Liverpool-West Brom (Apr. 16 early morning): 415,000 viewers (+5 percent from 439,000 of West Ham-Leicester Apr. 17, 2016; also, +6 percent from 393,000 of 2016 EPL Week 33 match of Leicester-Sunderland Apr. 10, 2016)
    • Chelsea-Manchester United (Apr. 16 late morning): 816,000 viewers (+59 percent from 514,000 of Crystal Palace-Arsenal Apr. 17, 2016; also, +23 percent from 663,000 of 2016 EPL Week 33 featured match of Manchester United-Tottenham Apr. 10, 2016); ranked as NBCSN’s most-watched telecast for the week of Apr. 10-16
  • F1 Racing from Bahrain on CNBC pr. 16 drew 413,000 viewers, a four-year low for the event. It was down 29 percent from the year-ago Bahrain F1 race which had aired on NBCSN on Apr. 3, 2016 (578,000 viewers).

  • The 2017 USA Arena Pro Swim Series from Mesa, Ariz. on NBCSN averaged 88,000 viewers over the late nights of Apr. 13-14, up 33 percent from a year ago when it had only aired on a Sunday in late night (Apr. 17, 2016: 66,000 viewers).

  • Overall, it was a positive week for mid-week afternoon soccer coverage on FS1 from Apr. 11-13:

    • UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal: Juventus Football Club-Barcelona (Apr. 11): 399,000 viewers (+3 percent from 388,000 of first leg of Barcelona-Club Atletico de Madrid Apr. 5, 2016); an additional 369,000 viewers tuned into the Spanish-language broadcast of Juventus Football Club-Barcelona on Fox Deportes, +29 percent over Barcelona-Atletico de Madrid’s Apr. 5, 2016 Fox Deportes telecast (285,000 viewers)
    • UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal: Bayern Munchen-Real Madrid (Apr. 12): 392,000 viewers (+49 percent from 263,000 of Paris St. Germain-Manchester City Apr. 6, 2016)
    • UEFA Europa League Quarterfinal: Anderlecht-Manchester United (Apr. 13): 214,000 viewers (-2 percent from 218,000 of Liverpool-Borussia Dortmund Apr. 14, 2016)
  • Mixed results for the two Major League Baseball games on FS1 from Apr. 15:

    • Detroit-Cleveland (Apr. 15 late afternoon): 272,000 viewers (-21 percent from 343,000 of Toronto-Boston Apr. 16, 2016)
    • San Diego-Atlanta (Apr. 15 prime time): 427,000 viewers (+5 percent from 405,000 of Atlanta-Miami Apr. 16, 2016); ranked as FS1’s most-watched telecast for the week of Apr. 10-16
