Who says the New York Yankees don’t know how to have fun? A bunch of their players got together to recreate the classic scene from The Sandlot where it’s revealed that Smalls has taken his stepfather’s autographed Babe Ruth ball and lost it to “The Beast.”

It seems quite appropriate to have Yankees’ players discussing the greatness of Babe Ruth. However, there’s quite the contrast in compensation for actors here; the initial movie was made on a $7 million budget, while the Yankees are spending $211 million on player salaries in 2015 alone. Nice of them to put some of that money to use with a Sandlot recreation, and one that had higher production values than either of the two direct-to-video Sandlot sequels.
