With #DeflateGate sweeping the nation (I was rooting for the #Ballghazi hashtag but it looks like it’s lost out), everyone in every corner of the known universe has an opinion on the matter. That includes intrepid ESPN NFL reporter Sal Paolantonio, who has quite the unique take on the controversy. You see, it all circles around Tom Brady needing to repair his image to sell Ugg boots to women.
Brady is married to a supermodel, has three Super Bowl rings, and is a future Hall of Famer. My guess is he’s not losing much sleep over how many boots he’s selling.
Sal puts on his Darren Rovell hat and talks about Brady’s press conference being necessary to help his #brand and sell more Uggs to women. Supposedly men could care less about fashionable footwear. Speak for yourself, Sal.
