It has been way,way, way, way, way, way, way, way, wayyyy too long since we have featured a highlight clip from AA favorite Gus Johnson. Thank goodness last night finally gave us some classic Gus, and it came from an unlikely place – the Milwaukee Bucks.
Remember when Johnson signed on to broadcast some Bucks games last year? He’s still there working games in between his college football and basketball duties for Fox Sports. While Milwaukee may not seem like the sexiest location for Gus and his excitable personality, he’s got the Greek Freak, and that’s all that matters.
Last night Giannis Antetokounmpo beat the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden with a gorgeous stepback jumper at the buzzer. Gus’ call of the buzzer beater did not disappoint.
