One of the great traditions of the revealing of the NCAA Tournament bracket is the annual bubble rant from Dick Vitale.  It seems that every year, Vitale becomes incredulous over one team (if not more) that have had their bubble popped.  It’s almost become a bit of a running joke to guess whose cause Vitale will champion each year.

This year, that team was the Murray State Racers.  But to Vitale’s credit, at least he’s sticking up for the little guy (at least most of the time).  UCLA’s inclusion in the field at the expense of teams like Murray State and Colorado State has nearly been universally derided.

However, as stated above, this isn’t just a one year phenomenon.  And there’s actually quite a bit more to Dickie V’s Selection Sunday hijinks.  Here’s a collection of our favorite highlights through the years…

2014 – Dickie V tells a weird Tony Bennett story

2013 – Dickie V needs a TO

2012 – A gentler Dickie V thinks Drexel and Washington should have gotten in

2011 – Colorado, etc. (note this is the year VCU made the Final Four)
