Great news for college baseball fans – ESPN will once again be covering the entire NCAA baseball tournament, from the Regionals to the Super Regionals to the College World Series in Omaha. Last year, ESPN announced they would air every game from the tournament, along with their Bases Loaded program on ESPN3.

This year, it’s more of the same. Every game will be available on WatchESPN, and Bases Loaded will return this Friday through Monday on ESPN3, along with simulcasts at parts of the day on ESPN2 and ESPNU. The hosts for Bases Loaded will be Dari Nowkhah and Matt Schick, while the analysts will be Kyle Peterson and Mike Rooney.

The schedules for coverage are subject to change, but four games have already been announced to air on ESPNU on Friday: Liberty vs Arkansas, Texas A&M vs Texas, Cal State Fullerton vs Nebraska, and North Dakota State vs Oregon State. Weekend coverage is still up in the air because matchups are dependent on results of Friday’s games. However, games from the Corvallis, Stillwater, Houston, Tallahassee, Louisville, Nashville, and Charlottesville regionals will be featured. Every game from the Super Regionals and College World Series will air on either ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU.

Bringing college baseball to a wider audience is a win for everyone involved. ESPN has been continually expanding their coverage, and while college baseball will never reach the level of college football or basketball, maybe it can at least start to gain more of a following.
