Last week we gave you our worst sports tweets of the year. Well, this is your winner for worst sports headline of the year. It comes from that bastion of journalistic integrity TMZ and a story they did on Jerry Sandusky eating hot dogs in prison. Of course, this is not an interesting or newsworthy item. The only reason it exists is to give TMZ the unfortunate headline you see above, which is just an awful, awful idea. I'm all for the use of puns in measured doses and trying to be witty and clever, but in no way is making light of child molestation and the horrors of Jerry Sandusky ever a good idea. A couple days ago, TMZ had a post on Victim One being "extremely suicidal", so yea, maybe wiener jokes regarding a convicted child sex abuser isn't the way to go.
