Earlier this spring, actor Will Ferrell took the Cactus League by storm by playing nine different positions for ten different teams during five different baseball games. While it was a publicity stunt it was also done to raise money for charity.
Not everybody was a fan of Ferrell’s stunt and that included legendary announcer John Madden, who called it a lack of respect for the game and the players.
Ferrell was on Conan this week and they discussed his spring training escapade and Farrell also responded to John Madden’s criticism…with a bird on his shoulder…
