Mike Francesa is a ticking timebomb on Fox Sports 1. The relationship between the sports pope and his national cable television syndication partner has been an unmitigated disaster. From poor ratings to constant preemptions, Francesa on FS1 is running on borrowed time.
And to tell the truth, perhaps the defining aspect of the Francesa-Fox Sports 1 relationship has been the enmity on both sides. During the NFL Draft, Francesa had on FS1’s Peter Schrager and Joel Klatt and managed to bury both of them, especially Klatt, before inviting them on the air.
So yesterday, when we caught wind of this tweet from Joel Klatt, we couldn’t help but chuckle.

Right now, it looks like Klatt will have the last laugh. He has a lot better future ahead of him on Fox Sports 1 than Francesa does.
