The definition of a bad morning: Seeing this headline. I knew Elway was good, but not THAT good. pic.twitter.com/hvfBzDGKG6

It's good to welcome my local paper to the realm of print snafus. On Friday morning the Columbus Dispatch headline for the season opening Broncos-Ravens game read "Elway throws seven touchdown passes." Either my eyes were lying to me last night with that guy in the Manning jersey, or the 53 year old former Broncos QB has made the greatest comeback in the history of sports.
At least Dispatch editor Ben Marrison was good enough to hold his hand up on Twitter. In defense of the Columbus Dispatch, I can understand the mistake. If it doesn't involve Ohio State athletics, not much care is given by anybody around these parts.
The botched headline is one thing, now if the paper can do something about their online paywall so I can read about the Crew again I'd really appreciate it.
