
Alex Rodriguez hit his first home run for the New York Yankees since returning to the lineup last week on Sunday afternoon in a 5-4 Yankee victory. You know what that means – it was an AAAAAAAA Bomb from AAAAAAAA Rod in the WCBS booth.
In actuality, John Sterling's call is rather subdued. Instead of the full blown Vaudeville call that he gives most Yankee home run calls, this almost sounds conflicted. It's like Sterling is trying to convince himself and fans listening this is something worth cheering, but deep down inside there's still an emptiness there.
