Ryan Lochte may have thought his 15 minutes or so of fame would have a little bit of an extended life after his Olympic performance in London. But after he sold his home in Gainesville, FL for plans to move to LA, poor Lochte got the news that he won’t be appearing on the next Bachelor.
A source told E! Lochte may have only been briefly considered stating "We honestly briefly considered him, but we are going elsewhere. It's really down to Arie and Sean [fan favorites from the past year’s Bachelorette]."
I for one am very disappointed in this turn of events. As someone who can’t stand watching any of the Bachelor/ette shows, having Lochte on may have piqued my interest regardless of his stellar(?) on-camera skills. Because in all honesty, women are watching Lochte for his interviewing skills as much as guys watch Kate Upton for her high fashion modeling pictures.
But for other Lochte lovers out there, fear not as the move to LA is still inevitable and he’s been snatching up cameos in shows like 90210, 30 Rock, was a special correspondent for E! during New York City’s Fashion Week and has been offered a spot on another E! dating show dubbed Ready for Love.
Jeah. Jeah. Jeah.
