North Carolina/Kentucky tipped off CBS coverage of college basketball in style this afternoon by giving us Gus Johnson in a game that came down to a last second heave from half court for the win. When the shot sailed left, like many, I was stunned that Gus Johnson being in the building simply wasn’t enough to will that ball in.
As I’m writing this right now, Gus Johnson is trending on twitter. The man is a star.
