Mike Georger pointed this out in the live-blog comments but I just had to put these photos up. The 49ers QB Alex Smith is apparently pulled in the ESPN Gamecast as Alex Smith the tight end (click for larger version)….
I know how confusing it is to keep track of people with the same name. I think the RB Chris Brown is the singer Chris Brown all the time. It’s an epidemic.
