Here’s a bombshell report – Jon Gruden wants to be the head coach at the University of Michigan. Who’s our source you ask? Well, it’s Chucky himself… back from his playing days at the University of Dayton.
An enterprising student at UD dug up an old Flyers media guide from the mid-80’s and found the paragraph on Dayton’s backup quarterback. At the time, Gruden’s career stats weren’t too impressive, but his ambitions were. He wanted to be the head coach for the Wolverines.

Gruden hasn’t made it to Michigan yet… but a Super Bowl victory in the NFL isn’t a bad consolation prize. Of course, there just might be an opportunity for Jon Gruden to live out his dreams of young adulthood with the job in Ann Arbor opening up very soon in all likelihood.
