Does WWE’s Seth Rollins have a career calling football games ahead of him after his time as a wrestler wraps up? If he has anything to say about it, yes.
Rollins was a guest on the SI Media With Jimmy Traina podcast and discussed what he might want to do after his time as a wrestler concludes. He said that he likes spending time at home with his wife, fellow WWE wrestler Becky Lynch, and their daughter. That said, Rollins also has other career ambitions.
“But I also would love to kick Tom Brady out of the booth and take his spot, you know? He’s busy owning the [Las Vegas] Raiders and stuff,” Rollins said, H/T Joseph Currier of F4WOnline.
Rollins further elaborated that he’d love to be an analyst, calling games for his favorite team, the Chicago Bears.
“My dream is to sit in the booth and call Bears games,” he added. “I would love to be on color for one of those things. Play-by-play? I don’t know, that might be over my pay grade. But I can do some color commentary, man. You put a microphone in front of me, I know what I’m talking about. I can get some stuff done. I think I might add a little flavor to it too, you know? Something a little bit different. So if anybody’s out there listening and you’re looking for a new color guy in your booth, I’m ready.”
Presently, Rollins is one of professional wrestling’s top performers and biggest stars. So it’s likely that he won’t be calling games for the Bears, or any other NFL team for a while. But he does have some more immediate goals in mind, like doing a podcast about the Bears.
“We’re looking at something, so keep your eyes peeled in 2025,” Rollins said on the matter. “We’re trying to get something together. It should be a lot of fun, I hope. If we can get it off the ground.”
