If you love to hate certain athletes, and judging from your social media comments, you do, you’re going to be interested in a new docuseries all about the most “hated” athletes around.

Per Variety, Vice TV has greenlit Everybody Hates, an anthology docuseries that digs into some of the most polarizing figures in sports, with each episode profiling one athlete.

“Rather than asking whether these athletes deserve the hate they receive, Everybody Hates asks a different question,” reads the official description. “How did they become the people millions love, millions hate, and almost everyone has an opinion about?”

The series will debut Tuesday, October 27, with an episode about YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. Successive episodes include Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Nov. 3), Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (Nov. 10), former NFL quarterback Michael Vick (Nov. 17), soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo (Nov. 24), and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. (Dec. 1).

Select episodes premiere the next day on Vice TV’s YouTube channel.

Each episode includes interviews with former teammates and coaches, as well as notable sports figures, including sports influencer Rachel A. Demita, The Atlantic’s Jemele Hill, Los Angeles Times journalist Kevin Baxter, and ESPN/Top Rank host Crystina Poncher.

“The biggest stories in sports are often the ones everyone thinks they already know,” said Vice TV President Pete Gaffney. “Today’s athletes are judged in real time, often before the full story is understood. Everybody Hates looks beyond the headlines to examine how these figures became symbols of much larger cultural conversations. That’s exactly the kind of storytelling VICE has always done best.”
