Vice TV is adding The Ariel Helwani Show to its lineup.

Starting Friday, Vice TV will serve as a linear partner for The Ariel Helwani Show, airing a weekly one-hour compilation of Helwani’s daily programming that leads directly into the network’s live sports coverage.

“Our whole team is very excited to partner with Vice to bring the show to a new audience,” Helwani said in a statement. “I have been a big fan of Vice’s content for years and have particularly enjoyed their combat sports coverage as of late. It’s an honor for us to now be a part of that coverage.”

The show is the flagship product of Uncrowned, the combat sports vertical Yahoo Sports built around Helwani after his contracts at Vox Media and Spotify expired last year. Despite being a frequent target of Dana White — a relationship Helwani has said has never recovered since UFC banned him from its events in 2016 — the preeminent MMA insider’s recent guests have included Ryan Garcia, Dustin Poirier and Bruce Buffer.

Vice TV has spent close to two years rebuilding its sports coverage. Its parent company laid off several hundred employees and stopped publishing on Vice.com in February 2024, following a 2023 bankruptcy filing. The company committed to sports as a rebuild strategy in December of that year, partnering with Omaha Productions and The Volume and continuing to produce Dark Side of the Ring, which had remained one of its more consistent properties. Vice TV signed a multi-year rights deal with BYB Bare Knuckle Boxing in February 2025, its first live sports event series, and has since built out a docuseries slate around personalities like Chris Russo, whose sports-debate series The Verdict returned for a second season this spring, and Noah Eagle, who hosts the comeback-focused Don’t Call It a Comeback.

Helwani’s show is the latest addition to that lineup.
