According to Donald Trump, the man who currently occupies the White House, a UFC event will soon be held at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
During a speech on Thursday, President Trump discussed upcoming events that will commemorate the United States of America’s 250th birthday, or America250. One of those events will be a UFC event held at the White House.
“We’re gonna have a UFC fight,” Trump said. “We’re gonna have a UFC fight, think of this, on the grounds of The White House.”

And while that elicited some laughter from the crowd, President Trump continued to discuss what the event would look like.
“We have a lot of land there,” he said. “We’re gonna build a little — we’re not, Dana’s gonna do it. Dana’s great. One of a kind. We’re gonna have a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like 20, 25,000 people. And we’re gonna do that as part of 250 also. We’re gonna have some incredible events. Some professional events, some amateur events but the UFC fight’s gonna be a big deal, too.”
Certainly, there are some logistical challenges with hosting an event of that size anywhere near The White House, let alone actually on the grounds. That said, UFC has more experience than most, particularly as it relates to President Trump.
Trump attended UFC 309 in November, which took place shortly after his victory in the 2024 United States Presidential Election. He has a friendship with UFC CEO Dana White, who campaigned for Trump. FBI director Kash Patel also expressed interest in agents being trained by the UFC. So, there’s a connection between the current administration and UFC. And given President Trump’s attendance at some events, the UFC may be more adept at Presidential security than most sporting leagues.
