Given the significance of the political landscape on Election Day, there have naturally been hundreds of thousands sharing their political beliefs on social media Tuesday. But one person decided to do so by hacking the X account of former FS1 personality Skip Bayless and using his platform to share their message in support of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.
In a number of since-deleted posts from the X account of Bayless, the hacker posted 8 separate posts within a 30-minute span, which stemmed from publicly endorsing Trump to pushing the Solana blockchain platform.
On top of that, one of the posts uses explicit language towards Kamala Harris. Another post stated that LeBron James “doesn’t give a crap about the American people” due to his endorsement of Harris.
A screen record posted on X by NBA podcaster E.K. Johnson of the Bayless social media account shows all eight of the posts from the hacker before they were eventually deleted, which can be seen below.

Interestingly, these posts from the hacker come just a day after the real Skip Bayless did indeed post a video where he all but officially endorsed Trump for president, calling him a “natural born leader”.
“I will say this about Donald Trump: I do not share a number of his views, maybe many of his views, but I do believe he’s a natural-born leader who isn’t afraid to make tough decisions and who, however, you want to explain it, has been very lucky through his life; see the little scar on his ear as opposed to a hole in his head,” said Bayless. “I’ll go with lucky over blessed because I’m just not sure either he or Kamala truly believe in a higher power, truly worship that higher power, truly pray for divine guidance.
“I know what they’ve said publicly, but I’m just not sure either candidate has God in his or her heart. I have pretty good instincts about this, and I’m just not convinced. Of course, that scares the hell out of me; maybe into me.”
Aside from the crypto plug, it may have actually been somewhat believable that the hacker’s posts on the Bayless X account may have actually been from him.
On a day with an already heightened amount of misinformation regarding the election, this hack of Bayless only adds to the mess.
