With the NFL trade deadline looming Nov. 5, Alvin Kamara has heard the speculation he might be on the move.
But the New Orleans Saints star vented on X Saturday after a fake trade report said he had officially requested a trade.
The account @FFFormulaNick tweeted a photo of Kamara, with a banner stating, “BREAKING NEWS FROM ADAM SCHEFTER,” along with a message: “Alvin Kamara has formally requested a trade and the Saints are headed for a rebuild with an extremely aged roster,” the fake report began.
The account deleted the post, but Benjamin Allbright, a Denver Broncos host and reporter with KOA Radio in Denver, reposted a screen shot. The Broncos, led by former Saints head coach Sean Payton, reportedly have interest in Kamara.
Guy deleted his fake trade tweet that Kamara had to come out and deny.
And the best part is…not only did he pretend “sources” that were obviously fake…he stole the fake tweet from someone else and hid the reply when it was pointed out. pic.twitter.com/56tg98EDGL
